What the brewers say

Saison fermented in stainless, aged one year in neutral oak wine barrels with our house mixed culture.

What our panel thought

Brett dominates aroma with wood, leather, light fruit, oak-vanilla, and a fresh, piney, spicy-hop edge. Sour flavor, with hops trending toward lemon-citrus. Rounded finish. Not pushing any boundaries, but well executed. Is this beer really better for having Brett?

What our editors thought

Rustic, woody Brett nose, with notes of warm oak and aged sherry. The sip feels conflicted, with lemon-lime citrus notes tussling against the Brett definition. Finishes citrus heavy, but with a clean, pithy coda.
