Roaring Table Brewing Festbier

What the brewers say

“Expect a bready, malt-forward experience with a floral, gently spicy Noble-hop bitterness.”

What our panel thought

“Noble-hop notes in the aroma are balanced by a nice dose of crackery malt. Moderate toasty malt gives way to a floral, earthy, green-tea hop finish. Malt body is a bit flabby, stripping away some of the more gentle hop character. Moderate sweetness lingers.”

What our editors thought

“Strong floral-hop note in the aroma is a bit intense for the style, yet the broadly sweet malt body cries for more hop definition.”

Roaring Table Brewing RTB Marzen

“Aroma dominated by toast, bread crust, pie crust. Soft floral hops with an herbal-spicy pop. Very light caramel. Big toast, moderate caramel dominate the flavor with slight floral and moderate herbal notes. Adequate bitterness. Clean finish is surprisingly dry for the malt depth, with mild hop bitterness lingering a short time.”

Roaring Table Brewing Holiday Romance

“Lemony floral hop aroma with a slight hint of mint. Medium-high passion fruit. Low grainy malt and medium hop bitterness. Slight corn flavor. Crisp, fresh, and refreshing with lively carbonation. Crisp, dry finish. A well-made lager with fresh hop expression.”

Roaring Table Brewing Roaring Table Helles

Brilliant gold, great foam. Fresh, crackery-malt nose with light, baguette-like sweetness and a kiss of spicy-floral hops; note of fresh-turned earth. Sweetish bread-crust flavor, plain but pleasant. Bright carbonation; body a bit thin. Dries out just enough in the finish. Bready sweetness emerges more as it warms.
