What the brewers say

“Toasty malts and German hops yield notes of fresh bread and floral, fruity character.”

What our panel thought

“Soft floral Noble-hop aroma. Subtle bread and biscuit malt notes. Very light metallic twinge to the water profile, but it finishes clean and dry with a light lingering bitterness. More festbier than märzen.”

What our editors thought

“Light bready nose with a slight sweetness, like French toast with a dusting of powdered sugar. The sip brings the bitterness forward, with a burnt bread-crust and earthy round bitterness. It’s not as delicate as some, with a lingering almost cacao bitter note.”
