What the brewers say

Full-bodied and smooth, with a sweet caramel flavor balanced with Northwest Liberty hops for a refreshing finish.

What our panel thought

Aroma of biscuit, deep caramel, light raisin, and hints of chocolate and coffee. Malt-driven flavor with toast, bread crust, nutty notes, caramel and coffee; a nice canvas for somewhat dank, piney hop flavors. Dry finish with light, lingering bitterness.

What our editors thought

Softly engaging nose of berry, melon, and banana, with a faint earthy and bready back note. The sip steers almost woody, with a mid-range bitterness for structure. Classically cohesive.
