Smith & Lentz Brewing German Pils

Find this brewery:

What the brewers say

Snappy and noble.

What our panel thought

Gentile, almost shy aroma; subtle floral hops, a touch of red apple. Slight sulfur adds German character. Bread-crust malt carries the flavor, rather abruptly giving way to bold Noble hop expression. Finishes crisp and dry.

What our editors thought

Fragrant nose with floral, sweet tropical-fruit notes of papaya and mango. In the sip, a square-edged bitterness with slight herbal drying character blocks and tackles faint malt, leaving light floral and tropical notes to linger.
