What the brewers say

“Blends the clean, crisp feel of a lager with bold notes of fruity citrus.”

What our panel thought

“Tropical hop nose; orange, grapefruit. Flavor bomb of tropical hops, OJ, slight bitterness on the end. Fairly resinous and hop-sweet; hops coat the tongue, while malt is present enough to balance things out and make the finish work. Bright, refreshing. Would happily put a sixer in the fridge.”

What our editors thought

“Citra- powered citrus notes jump from the glass with fresh-from-the-laundry crispness. This beer proves that only a touch of malt sweetness is necessary to bring out that juicy character. Bright and well-defined.”
