The Big Friendly Wasted Words

What the brewers say

“Czech pale lager with Saaz and Sladek.”

What our panel thought

“Lovely aroma, with light malt notes and herbal, lightly peppery hops. Favor is full of Noble hop character with a slight cracker malt character but skews toward hop bitterness. Super-crisp mouthfeel with dry-hop finish.”

What our editors thought

“Very pale body is uncharacteristic, but the refined aroma with just a touch of sweet malt suggests more. Very lean in the sip, clean and tight with a succinct hop note, but the light body leaves the hops a bit unchecked.”
