What the brewers say

“Aged with ube, toasted coconut, roasted cashews, vanilla.”

What our panel thought

“Marshmallow nose with coconut, hints of chocolate, bourbon booziness. Flavor is sticky sweet chocolate and coconut, leavened by a shot of bourbon. Hint of roast in the finish. Sticky body.”

What our editors thought

“Bark and leaf notes distract from the more satisfying oak, vanilla, coconut aromas. Sweet in the sip with heavy coconut and vanilla, but again the light vegetal notes are distracting. Thick, indulgent with a mouth-coating body.”
