What the brewers say

“Brewed with citrus-forward Citra hops and grape-forward Nelson hops.”

What our panel thought

“Tropical elements of pineapple, mango, guava, and orange juice mingle with hints of wood and pine in the nose. The bitterness hits early in the sip and comes across more pine-forward than tropical. The mouthfeel is a bit chalky, further accentuating the bitterness and drying out the finish a bit too much. Soft body.”

What our editors thought

“Honeydew melon nose with spicy pepper and light floral. Light melon sip with a lurching acidic fruit note, and an almost saison-like peppery yeast note as it warms.”
