What the brewers say

“DIPA featuring local Michigan honey.”

What our panel thought

“Murky orange in color, a tight white head that stays around. Tangerine-like citrus in the nose with a caramel maltiness. Soft, yogurt-like grape hop flavors and more caramel maltiness. The bitterness helps temper the sweetness, but the sweet aspect wins the race, lingering on the palate. An interesting beer that leaves you wanting just a little more from it.”

What our editors thought

“Herbal sweet citrus nose with just a touch of honey. The sip is sweet but a fresh green citrus edge lends it structure. Clever and quirky.”
