What the brewers say

“Brewed and double dry-hopped with Citra, Mosaic, El Dorado.”

What our panel thought

“Rich, layered hop character leans on earthy notes with hints of coconut, mango. Nails the mouthfeel to provide a smooth, creamy finish with a balanced sweetness. Very floral hop flavors, almost pushing soapy. Enough bitterness to add support. Excellent finish with low alcohol note.”

What our editors thought

“Funky tropical aroma with plantain, passion fruit, kiwi. Sweet in the sip with very light bitterness and rollicking tropical rhythms that reverberate in the long finish.”

Weldwerks Juicy Bits

__Aroma:__ “Lots of fruit and juice on the nose, including notes of orange, lemon, mango, melon, and pineapple. The big juicy citrus up front combines with the spicy and pine notes.” __Flavor:__ “This beer showcases the spicy and resinous hops very well while remaining juicy throughout. The citrus notes of orange, tropical pineapple, melon, and mango add a nice fruity complexity throughout the taste. Spot- on carbonation adds to the refreshing character, and the slight sweetness during the sip transitions into a mild palate-cleansing bitterness that lingers in the finish.” __Overall:__ “This beer is great, and I could drink a lot of it. It’s fruity and juicy without being overly sweet. The combination of fruits complements the piney hops flavors. So much is happening in this beer, but the harmony is exceptional.”

WeldWerks Brewing Co. Nectaron Extra Extra Juicy Bits

“Nails the hop interplay: dank Mary Jane, citrus, tropical edges, a touch of grass. Hop reciprocity follows through the flavor into the finish. Never shy but doesn’t bang you over the head. Cloud-like mouthfeel, but there is a presentation of dry simplicity with low minerality. Alcohol heat. Orangey-fruit finish.”

WeldWerks Brewing Co. 2023 Medianoche

“Caramel, vanilla, coconut, milk-chocolate notes in the nose blend beautifully with some nice roast and coffee notes. Despite the impression of sweetness in the aroma, the barrel’s roast character and a light spirit note perfectly temper things and create a beer that is both roasty and sweet with a wonderful balance.”
