What the brewers say

Farmhouse-style saison fermented in oak and conditioned on fresh Meyer lemon, orange, and pink grapefruit.

What our panel thought

Aroma is woody, herbal, and a touch medicinal. Intense and weird. Even weirder—it’s not off-putting. Sweet-tangy balance, lemony, with a bitterish, cooling, leafy-minty stripe running through the flavor. Just off dry, with lingering tang and cool menthol. Damned interesting and pretty drinkable.

What our editors thought

Spicy botanical gin-and-tonic nose with a crisp herbal juniper edge. Atypical yet engaging, the cocktail-meets-beer approach doesn't shy away from a bit of challenging herbal bitterness, but like a good G&T, a touch of soft, tart, and sweet lime pulls it together. Fascinating in its ambition; rewarding in execution.
