Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales Yikes!

What the brewers say

"Subtle notes of lemon, citrus, and funk, followed by a refreshing tartness."

What our panel thought

"Stone-fruit aromatics of peach and apricot mingle with subtle barnyard, leather, hay. Crackery malt, citrus. Bright acidity accentuates the fruit notes, tempering the Brett funk. A white-wine-like dryness on the finish."

What our editors thought

"Subtle nose with woody, peppery Brett and light tropical fruit. The sip is equal parts sour apple and lemon-lime, with a very light malt component."

Elysian Brewing Punkuccino

“Aroma blends coffee, ginger, vanilla, cinnamon, freshly grated nutmeg. Strong blonde coffee flavor with hints of candied walnuts and Fig Newtons. Light fruity alcohol note.”

Two Roads Brewing Co Roadsmary's Baby

“Aroma of sweet, caramelized sugars and vanilla with a touch of spice—like a spiced rum. Tasting, complex profile of bread crust, raisins, pumpkin, white pepper, vanilla. Finishes fairly dry and boozy. Not sweet.”

Foothills Brewing Torch Pilsner

A wonderful balance of spicy Saaz hops and Pilsner malt. Crisp and refreshing yet not superlight bodied. Just the right amount of hops bitterness and spice plays great with a tasty Pilsner malt backbone. A little on the sweeter side for a Pilsner, but definitely not too sweet. Overall very crushable.
