Porter Marshmallows
1½ cup (12 fl oz/355 ml) porter
2 Tbs granulated sugar
Three ¼-oz (7 g) gelatin packets
2 Tbs (1 fl oz/30 ml) canola oil
2 cup powdered sugar
Combine the porter and granulated sugar in a medium sauce pan over medium-high heat. Simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool to 80°F (27°C).
