Beachwood Blendery Un Atout

What the brewers say

“GABF silver medal–winning classic saison. Rustic, floral, Bosc pear, sweet dough.”

What our panel thought

“Grain-forward nose. Hints of pepper complement citrus esters and a cedar hop note. Quick flash of caramel sweetness in the sip quickly gives way to lemon and orange notes, balanced by peppery phenols.”

What our editors thought

“Doughy nose with bits of lily and fern, along with the slightest hint of passion fruit. Bright and yeast-forward in the flavor, with a very managed bitterness that quickly scrubs into lingering passion fruit. Classically modern.”

Beachwood Blendery Latent Owl

Fairly phenolic nose: smoke, mint, vanilla, oak, with esters of pear, peaches, apricot. Moderate, well balanced acidity, with funky leather, earth, and light citrus and minty resin notes. Lemon quality marries nicely with the botanical character. Very interesting and drinkable.

Beachwood Blendery Sketches of Senne: Apricot & Rhubarb

Floral, fruity nose—notes of apricot, lighter stone fruit, chanterelles. Bright and refreshing flavor with notes of grapefruit pith, malty sweetness and a lovely balance among restrained tartness; soft, dusty bitterness; lively mouthfeel; and an earthy, clean, drying finish. Beautifully complex, balanced, and drinkable.

Beachwood Blendery Coolship Chaos with Balaton Cherry

“Cherry-pie notes with hints of cinnamon, ginger, allspice. Cherry tartness balances the spicy/sweet cinnamon with subtle bread-like malt and light funk. Finishes fairly dry and crisp.”
