  • 5 lbs Dark Munich
  • 5 lbs Vienna
  • 1 lbs Caramunich I
  • 1 lbs Melanoiden Malt

HOPS SCHEDULE

  • 1 oz Hallertau Mittelfruh (60 minutes)
  • 1 oz Hallertau Mittelfruh (15 minutes)
  • .5 oz Hallertau Mittelfruh (0 minutes)

YEAST

  • Bavarian Lager (Wy 2206/2308) (WLP 833/838)

Mash grains for 60 minutes at 154°F (68°C).

Steep grains for 30 minutes at 160°F (71°C).

The talented homebrewers at Hops & Berries homebrew supply shop (just around the corner from the Craft Beer & Brewing office) graciously shared this homebrew recipe. The recipe is built to yield a batch size of 5 gallons (19 liters) and assumes 72 percent brewhouse efficiency.
